VDL Jonckheere DVD entertainment system.

The brief was to fit a DVD system that would ensure that all seated passengers could view to satisfy the requirements of a tour operator running an international excursion. We fitted 3 x 15.4" screens to the coach, 2 of which were fitted upstairs with 1 at the front and 1 half way down the coach. The 3rd was fitted at the front of the lower deck, with the 4th at the rear of the lower deck facing forward for the front rear facing seat passengers to view. The DVD source used was a JVC DVD tuner that plays DVD's and acts as a radio / CD player also. The audio was inter grated into the existing speaker amplifier / PA system that was already fitted to the coach for the drivers microphone. We also fitted a second microphone socket so a guide can speak from the front passenger seat.
